Post-Doctoral position in Tobacco Population Research

A PhD in epidemiology, public health, health behavior, or other related fields.

The Department of Family and Preventive Medicine is inviting candidates to a full-time post-doctoral researcher in tobacco position. The candidate would work as part of a multidisciplinary team leading major tobacco population studies. The position will be focused on generating publications with the team of researchers in the areas of tobacco control behavior, epidemiology, and policy. The candidate will be mentored and provided support to achieve the goals of research tasks but will be expected to take the initiative in developing new ideas of research at a semi-independent level. The position is initially for 1 year and renewable for additional 2 years based on creativity, productivity and commitment to research.

A PhD in epidemiology, public health, health behavior, or other related fields.

-Demonstrated advanced data analyses and statistical software (SAS software) capabilities

- Ability to lead on manuscript writing independently and a track record of previous publications

-Background and understanding of tobacco control research and topics
